Christmas At Marriott

Christmas season here in the Philippines starts as early as September. Yes, we are that early and my friends who live abroad are most often than not surprised to see christmas decors around the Metro.

Last November 8, Manila Marriott started its Christmas early with their yearly awaited Christmas Tree Lighting. The not-to-be-missed 20-foot Christmas tree at the hotel lobby is a must-see along with the life-sized ginger bread train of Treats that is ready to whisk you away for a Christmas holiday. Arriana was so happy and excited to see the train!

The tree-lighting ceremony, hosted by Chico Delamar, started the night with a bring me games for the kids and the kid at heart.

Colegio de Sta. Rosa’s Himig Rosena chorale group serenaded the crowd with most-loved Christmas songs.

Santa Claus appeared at the top of the stairs bearing his famous sack of gifts and he led everyone to the function room where it was designed as Santa’s Workplace. Arriana was so happy and excited! Look how beautiful the set up was! My kids had so much fun. Below photos are from Michelle Garcia, Cluster Vice President of Marketing and Communication

Marriott has been known to give back to the community like the Philippine School of the Deaf. The kids from the Philippine School of the Deaf are also there to celebrate.
