It’s been three weeks since JB started to cook for the family because I am just swamped with work. Grateful that JB loves our new instantpot which turned him to an instant cook. One recent recipe that he cooked for the family is Steamed Pompano in Soy Garlic Ginger Sauce. Ate Pam and Kuya Angelo sent us seafoods ( Thank you, Ate and Kuya) and we were so excited with the Pompano.
Preparation: 10-15 minutes
Cook time: 20 minutes
Clean and gut the fish.
Prep ginger, garlic and spring onions.
Rub a bit of salt in the fish.
Marinate fish in 1 tablespoon fish sauce for 15 to 30 min
Put ginger garlic inside the cavity of the fish
Put 1 cup of water. Choose steam mode. and make sure that you are on sealing. Quick release after.
Prepare soy garlic ginger sauce. Mix 1 cup water, 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1 table spoon of sugar, Garlic, Ginger. Bring to boil.
Once fish is done steaming Pour soy ginger garlic sauce on the fish.
Garnish with fresh spring onions
